Case CE is responding to government regulations by developing a new line of all-electric equipment, including a 3.8 ton compact wheel loader.
Last week, Case Construction Equipment introduced the 12EV, an all-electric compact wheel loader with a 1.5 ton payload capacity, demonstrating its commitment to zero emissions.
The 12EV is equipped with a 23 kWh lithium-ion battery and can operate for up to six hours. It can charge overnight or from 10 to 80% in under an hour on a DC fast charger.
The 12EV wheel loader is part of Case's electric construction equipment lineup, which includes mini excavators powered by similar battery packs. The company recently showcased its electric machines at an event in the UK.
