Rivian has been diligently working on establishing its own in-house EV charging network since 2020, strategically locating charging sites along routes to picturesque natural destinations that align with its brand identity.

The company recently unveiled its first 'Charging Outpost' near Yosemite National Park, converting an old gas station into a charming ranger cabin-themed stop for both refueling vehicles and rejuvenating travelers.

With plans to expand its network to accommodate other brands by the end of 2024, Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe hinted at an imminent announcement during a recent roundtable discussion, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming launch.

Amidst discussions about integrating NACS standards in the transition to a unified charging standard, Rivian remains committed to its current CCS infrastructure, emphasizing adaptability and future-proofing through the use of adapters.
