After years of steady electricity demand in the US, a new report predicts a surge in the coming decade.
The report by ICF measures electricity demand growth, with US demand projected to increase by 9% by 2028. Factors such as a strong economy, electric vehicles and buildings, and data centers are pushing demand higher, putting pressure on the grid.
