Tesla is preparing for the unveiling of its Robotaxi on October 10 at Warner Bros. Studio. They are currently mapping the area using a fleet of cars, including a heavily-camouflaged version of the Robotaxi. The prototype was spotted by a lot employee and shared on Reddit.

The camouflaged vehicle, painted bright yellow, looks cartoonish with additional bodywork to obscure its shape. It appears to be smaller than the car following behind and features a boxy structure in the back. Rumors suggest the Robotaxi will be a 2-door, 2-seat car.

The prototype does resemble the concept render of the Robotaxi, with a low nose and unique design elements. There are speculations about the inclusion of a LiDAR sensor, which would be a departure from Tesla's previous stance on autonomous driving technology.

Tesla's testing of the Robotaxi at Warner Bros. indicates progress in their autonomous driving efforts. More sightings of the prototype may follow soon.
