A new Toyota electric crossover SUV, the bZ3C, is set to debut in the Chinese market. The vehicle, developed in collaboration with BYD, was initially unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Motor Show alongside the bZ3X, a larger family-oriented SUV.

The bZ3C is designed with a 'Reboot' concept to attract younger buyers, while the bZ3X aims to provide a comfortable family-moving experience. Both models are tailored specifically for the Chinese market and showcase Toyota's commitment to electric vehicle development.

Documents released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Tech reveal details of the bZ3C's pure electric powertrain, including an LFP battery from BYD. The vehicle will feature optional 21" or 18" wheels, a black rear spoiler, and laser radar on the front windshield.

With production scheduled to begin by the end of 2024, the Toyota bZ3C is expected to offer a range of around 310-373 miles (500-600 km). Would you consider purchasing this electric crossover SUV in markets outside of China?
